Ok, so you have retired now, implying that your monthly wages have stopped coming in and you only have a retirement fund with you to count on. Now this is all that you have, so you have make a choice of sitting and eating from this fund or plan to make sure that it keeps growing. So you need to be even more planned after your retirement and make sure that you use lives earnings very judiciously.

By the time a person retires he is well aware of how to protect his money and also know how best to spend the money, but the fact of the matter is that there is a fixed fund to use from. So it is important that this fund grows when the same is not getting used. A retired person can have a lot of options like investing in stock or mutual funds so that the money grows rather multiply along with the market.

No need to stop earning by work

Work is something that keeps people going so, why stop? After retirement you can find yourself a job that will suit you, that is close to your passion like in a library, in a music store etc. There are jobs that do not demand a lot of physical activity and there are always part time jobs that you can do, spend less hours working.

This will keep you fit and there will be a regular flow of money in your pocket making your retirement funds safe to grow with the market. The other things that work will help you fight is boredom. It is often seen that people into retirement find it difficult to kill time and end up spending time in front of TV etc. This is not good for your health (even before retirement it was not !!!)

The fund you have collected needs to be spent wisely and you would need to plan your expenditure and save money wherever you can. You have worked all your life to bring up a fund that has to go on till you are going on, so you have to be financially smarter than before, so that you make sure that you increase your money and protect it too.
